The band Spill Gold plays live music inspired by texts by poets from war zones such as Gaza and Ukraine, where the reality of war leaves deep scars. These voices make tangible what it is like to fight for survival.The continent is in a never-ending war. Every bit of land, food, water, brandstof and even shade is being fought for. In this unstable world, where war keeps turning everything upside down, Mother Courage (Tamar van den Dop) travels with her three young adult children. Trade is her only survival strategy. So she sells everything she needs: from weapons to food, from boots to beer. Fervently, she fights to keep her family together. Whatever the cost.
