In their brand new musical cabaret show Rekhalzen, cabaret duo Yentl and de Boer go in search of their ability to dream, in a time that can be called unpredictable, to say the least.

Whooop there go those necks! Rekhalzen is old Dutch for reaching out. Truly an excellent word. It's exactly where we need: to stretch the necks a little. Whoooop the sky! Looking for the horizon, the future or just some kind of direction. Is there something beautiful waiting? Maybe something surprising.... Are you going to learn something where never imagined you would get around to? Shot put. Turns out you have a perfect physique for that! Of course, what you get to see can also be grossly disappointing. Ailments ... flawedness ... a slow lonely death in a public place while everyone thinks you're joking. Or what about when your neck whooop goes up in the air, but that first glimpse over the neighbor's fence is already so frightening that the appetite goes out of you? Sitting there, in his naked nothingness. Eating custard. Being in the now. How are you supposed to relate to that?

After the success of Modderkruipers, which won them the Poelifinario for best kleinkunstvoorstelling of the season, Yentl and de Boer, accompanied by their phenomenal musicians David Gram and Charly Zastrau, is back with a new program full of beautiful and funny songs, where they are so loved for.
