About René
With 2636, his previous show, René won the Poelifinario - the award for the best cabaret program. With the same program, he also won a Platinum Ticket Award for selling more than 50,000 tickets. Van Meurs has been a regular member of comedy collective Comedytrain for years. He won the jury and audience award of Cameretten, toured sold-out venues with five full-length programs and was nominated for the Neerlands Hoop in 2018.
