Triple Vision

Sacred scriptures, breakdance, ayurveda, a looping station, astrology, Shiva and Shakti, Indian song & dance, and goddess Kali are featured in this modern triptych. The three pieces demonstrate where Kalpanarts stands for: bringing together different styles and disciplines, and placing Indian culture in a contemporary context. Each work explores themes of tradition and modernity, personal and social narratives, and the dynamics between culture and identity.
