SOUNDS is a physical ode to the power of music. A blistering performance in which Caribbean rhythms, African sounds and hip-hop come together in a dance of energy, emotion and movement. Five performers bring the stage to life with rousing soca and the konpa fueled by new sounds from Africa - a mix that moves body and soul. This performance is a celebration of music as a source of joy, connection and resistance. An echo of generations, carried by our (for) parents and passed down through time - before, during and after Trans-Atlantic slavery. SOUNDS makes audible who we are, and palpable what drives us.
