Journey around the earth with the Little Astronauts (4+)

From2 Productions develops in close collaboration with astronaut André Kuipers a visual performance based on the book Atlas of the Earth.

Get in and get ready to go!

What do you see when you look up? The sun, the moon, the stars... But what does the earth look like when you look down from above? In this performance, you look through the eyes of André Kuipers!

From a state-of-the-art 'Mission Control Center', two researchers keep in touch with astronauts in space. They send supplies, control satellites and keep an eye on everything. But then ... down there, in a backyard on Earth, something extraordinary happens. Two young astronauts, André and Valentina, climb into their rocket and take off. There it is, hurtling through space! But when something goes wrong, the researchers come to the rescue. Or is it the other way around?

Before you know it, you'll be sucked into the exciting story! You will be launched, tumble through space and land on the most extraordinary places on earth. The space images that André Kuipers himself made come to life in a book that fills the entire stage, so that you literally travel along in the story. With beautiful projections and visual acting, this will be an adventurous, interactive and impressive experience, with young and old on the edge of their seats.

Note: André Kuipers can be seen and heard in the performance, but will not be physically present himself.
