Nature boat trip on the Eem
IVN guide Piet van Dijk talks about the Eem and nature along the Eem. Did you know that over 40 bird species live around the Eem? The Eem used to be a large swamp between Amersfoort and Lake Eemmeer and has been canalized by man over time. Along the banks of the Eem, numerous waterfowl and meadow birds thrive. Spot the Kingfisher and the Black-tailed Godwit.
There are also some nature reserves along the river. Piet will tell you all about it.
