The Session Man tells the story of Nicky Hopkins, the highly gifted and prolific British session pianist of some of the world's greatest rock bands. Nicky's legendary piano riffs helped ordinary songs become extraordinary and iconic. Many of those songs are still popular today.
Nicky Hopkins not only played with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and The Who, he also played on solo albums by all four members of the Beatles early in his amazing career that spanned more than 30 years. During that time, his genius piano playing contributed to more than 250 albums and a large number of single releases.
