ROF DAAIMUND is the new all-encompassing alter ego of Isabelle Kafando. Directed by Peter van de Witte (Rundfunk, n00b), ROF gives you a show! Touching misfits and silly posers follow one another in a freak show that will make you wonder right through your fits of laughter if you're not just witnessing a nervous breakdown on stage.
Like some kind of Freek Vonk of the inner world, she grabs you by your throat and drags you through a jungle of characters who all understand even less about life than you do. All the characters wrestle with the question of who they actually are, resulting in a display of social failures that make you cry with recognition. Rough stones that ROF finely grinds into unique diamonds. The comedy is sharp, fast-paced and constantly changing shape. ROF is disarming but always hits the mark itself.

Just as you hide your identity crisis behind fancy talk and Instagram filters, ROF DAAIMUND polishes its characters until they seem almost human. Almost. Because let's face it: no one really knows who the f*ck they are.
