The Amersfoort City Trail is the running event where the emphasis is not on speed and competition, but on a sporty way to discover the city. The trail leads past beautiful places, through narrow alleys and special buildings. Among others, the Fire Station, Dille & Kamille, the Library, Rock City Brewing, Pathé and the Mannenzaal were just a small selection of the buildings and institutions that opened their doors to the participants for the first editions.
Not running in the City Trail on March 23? Then come to City Hall Square anyway for an impressive abseiling demonstration! Between 10:00-11:00, the Ministry of Defense will provide a spectacle in which soldiers abseil from the City Hall. In the sign of Amersfoort Garnizoensstad, you can admire military vehicles and meet the men. Perfect for a fun Sunday morning outing!
